MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has made significant inroads into Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN as his first full-length album. The album reached the top of the charts at number 8 on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was a Top Five hit for Ozuna and for him in the following year. Mala Influencia came out as his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. The following calendar year Dopamina became his second album. Then in 2021 he sang the duet for the TINI streaming hit track Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo comes from an instrumental background. Both his elder brother and mother also play music. Turizo has told interviews that music is compulsory. When he was young, he taught to play guitar, the piano and ukulele. Despite initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that learning with a Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
