Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romance ballads. Ana loves opera and tangos, as well as all dramatic performances. Ana began learning to play and sing from an early age, along alongside her mother. She received more formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, as well being a young professional at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups and choirs. Following her move from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is passionate about the performing arts, music, and the arts keep her involved in local activities both as an artist and instructor. Ana has also been a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thank Inland Master Chorale members for their permission to play classic Latin American song.
